Fundamentals for Student Success

For parents, students and families that are facing obstacles because of a learning disability or other life challenge, our Fundamentals for Student Success provides mentoring, guidance, resources and a defined course of action to set you and your student up for success.

SESSIONS
Quantity: 3-5 sessions
Duration: 1 hour virtual or in-person (once safe) Structure: Individually with parents, individually with students, as a family or a hybrid of individual and family sessions.

$120 for each 1 hour session; or
$550 for 5 sessions*

Fees include session pre-prep and one hour of follow-up legwork for each session

Organizing Students for Learning & Children for Life Success

For students and children with Executive Functioning struggles, getting organized around school or life itself can be overwhelming. Through our Organizing Students for Learning & Children for Life Success program, we co-develop a set of organizational practices that work for your child to facilitate their path to productiveness.

Quantity: 1-5 sessions
Duration: 1 hour virtual or in-person (once safe) Structure: Individually with students, as a family or a hybrid of individual and family sessions.

$100 for each 1 hour session; or
$450 for 5 sessions*

Getting your Child’s Assessment

The purpose of an assessment is to gather information about a child’s areas of strengths and challenges to determine whether or not the student may have a learning difference. MamaBrava helps guide you through everything that comes before, during and after your child’s assessment, advocating for you and your family along the way.

Quantity: 6 sessions (recommended)
Duration: 1 hour per session
Structure: We consult with your family, the professionals administering your child’s assessment and the teachers who will ultimately work with you and your child to get their assessment and create their individualized education plan (IEP). This occurs over a series of sessions designed to set you, your child and family up for success.

COST

$150 for each 1 hour session; or
$800 for 6 sessions*

Fees include session pre-prep and one hour of follow-up legwork for each session

Advanced Peer to Junior Peer

Quantity: TBD
Duration: 1 hour per session
Structure: In addition to MamaBrava’s professional mentoring services, we offer Advanced Peer to Junior Peer mentoring for your child or student. We find that children sometimes respond more receptively to a mentor who is closer to their age and is someone they can relate to.

Gabe Corradino has been mentoring and tutoring youth since his early teens. Currently a junior in college, Gabe is passionate about helping others with learning differences and adolescent challenges given his personal experience with Dyslexia.
